A Perfect Blood (The Hollows, #10) - Kim Harrison
This is an installment in a well-established series. If you start here, you will likely be confused.Liked:* The action was well-paced and the enemy was something different than we've experience before.* It was nice to have more Glenn and to see a teensy more of David too. I like the side characters in this series as much as the main ones.* Rachel kicks ass when she can pull herself together.* The tension between Trent & Rachel is delicious.Liked Less:* Rachel whined and felt sorry for herself a lot in this book. Sometimes she even realized it, but it didn't make the quantity any less annoying. I don't recall the previous book having so much "introspection." I like a less emo Rachel.Overall, a solid though not perfect installment in a great urban fantasy series.
