This is a prequel novella to Full Blooded, the first novel in the Jessica McClain series.Liked:* The world seems really cool and I like the author's take on werewolves. I am especially interested to see what's up with Jessica's "curse."* Jessica is an interesting character and I definitely want to read more about her.Liked Less:* This novella consisted mostly of 2 things - fighting and exposition. I do like both these things but something about how it was all put together here left me wanting more.I didn't enjoy this novella as much as my GR friends. It was average verging on meh for me. What did snag me? The excerpt from the novel Full Blooded. While the novella didn't wow me, the excerpt has put Full Blooded at the top of my TBR pile.
